Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/4 cups washed and chopped fenugreek leaves


  • 1 cups whole wheat flour


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 cups water to make soft dough


  • 1/2 cups eggless mayonnaise and sandwich spread


  • 1 cups green chuteny


  • 1 cups temptas tomato sauce


  • 1 cups slices of tomatoes and cucumbers


  • 3-4 nos grated processed cheese,cubes


  • 1 tsp chat masala and naylon sev, optional

Directions

  • First mix all the ingredients of thepla in medium sized bowl and make a soft dough using water.
  • Rest it for 15 mins.Now devide it into 8 equal portions.
  • Roll two portions and saute them on both the sides by applying oil.Prepare other theplas using same method.
  • How to make theplas sandwiches:
  • Take one thepla, apply mayonnaise, sandwich spread and green chuteny on it.
  • Place tomato and cucumber slices on it.Top it with grated cheese and chaat masala.
  • Now take one more thepla and apply tomato sauce on it, and place it on first thepla to make sandwich.
  • on nonstick pan, apply butter and grill this sandwich on both the sides.
  • Your thepla sandwich is ready, serve it hot immediately with sauce and green chuteny.
